NOMINATION FORM FOR COMMITTEE MEMBER
As per Section 12 of the Rules of the Friends of the Academy:
A Member who wishes to be a Committee Member must be nominated by one other Financial Member as a candidate for election.
A Member may only be nominated for one position on the Committee prior to the AGM.
Nominations will close on the 20th of April.
Positions up for election at the Annual General Meeting to be held on 18 May 2025 are as follows:
- CHAIRPERSON
- DEPUTY-CHAIRPERSON
- SECRETARY
- TREASURER
- GENERAL COMMITTEE MEMBER
REQUIREMENTS:
- Be a financial member of The Friends of The Academy, 18 years and over
- Police Clearance Certificate – You will require a current Police Clearance Certificate. The Friends will pay for one for the successful applicants
- Outgoing personality and able to work constructively as a member of a team
- Able to regularly attend one committee meeting a month of no more than 1.5 hours in duration in person or via Zoom
