WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN A TOUR OF THE ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS (WAAPA)
The Friends of the Academy are conducting five “behind the scenes” tours of the Academy in 2025.
The Tours are popular with groups and individuals and are limited to 20 people. We are pleased to offer you an experience at some of the Departments mentioned. Your well-informed Guide will take you both backstage and on stage; show you through Props and Scenery, Lighting or Costume workshops; visit a Music Theatre or Dance class as well as Aboriginal Performance.
A complimentary morning tea is included, and there will be a Q&A with a WAAPA representative, providing you with an opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
Purchase a light lunch at the Grindhouse Eatery on campus or bring your own, then enjoy a complimentary lunchtime concert that will complete your Tour.
Open to Members of the Friends of the Academy and non-Members.
